I have some very strong views about sex.  And, I have some very strong views about God.  The two are not mutually exclusive.  In fact, quite the opposite.

Unfortunately, I think that some people have over-interpreted the rules about sex.  As a result, a lot of people are walking around with a lot of guilt that need not be.  And, as a result, a lot of people go down some very dark paths to find sexual satisfaction, because they have been taught that all sex is "bad".  I think that such teaching is a real insult to God.

That is the short version of what I tried to post on this blog.  If anyone is interested in reading the full version, please let me know.  I think that my views are WITHIN the standards of the Holy Bible, yet they are beyond what most churches teach.  (There is a lot of false teaching around, as should be expected in these times.  That results in confusion, which is not of God.  Some of that false teaching is about sex.)

God has some very strict guidelines about sex.  But, I think that some self-important people have created some artificial "rules" over time that have taken away the joy that God designed into sex.  The piece that I wrote attempts to restore the joy, without breaking God's laws.  It is a fine line, but I think that it would be helpful to a lot of people.
