I am fairly new here so I do not know what the site used to be earlier (got here from your Xham link). Yuvutu's video viewing -- and I guess uploading -- experience is quite poor. There are constant connection issues, where one has to reload and even the login fails sometimes (to say nothing about the insecure login method they use). They also seem to be counting a click on a video as a view, instead of counting people actually watching a video; that would explain the mismatch between the lack of comments and overall views.
