unable to allow camera access

Post unable to allow camera access 
in chat, when the window pops up to select allow or deny camera access, I am unable to select either - the window seems to freeze. Haven't had this problem before, have tried logging out and in again but doesn't help. Any ideas?

Post SAME PROBLEM 
I encountered the same problem with my MacBook, while on my Windows based PC no problem.
The fact is that the flash window doesn't accept any input when I click on it.
Please help!
